The Uga, Queens, Ugo and Ouza clubs are set to make a combined $100m in revenue from the sale of a majority stake in their respective networks to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.

The New York Times reported that the three clubs will sell their share of Fox Sports North to Rupert as part of the deal that will see Rupert’s company acquire a 21 percent stake in the network for $1.5bn.

A source familiar with the matter told the Times that the deal was a combination of Fox’s $1 billion in broadcast revenue and the network’s $40m in digital rights.

The purchase of the Uga and Uga Sports Club’s shares is expected to be completed within days of Rupert’s arrival in the United States.

It is unclear what the impact of the sale will be on Uga’s Uga Soccer Club, which is set to hold a vote of no confidence in the board of directors in the coming days.

Uga, Ugaspa and Ouazza are also said to be interested in buying a piece of the Fox Sports South channel.
