Milwaukee Bucks beat Toronto Raptors 74-67 in double overtime on Friday night in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
The Bucks, who have never advanced past the first two rounds of the playoffs, were led by a 19-point second quarter and finished with a 17-2 run over the next eight minutes.
Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo (15 points) and Aaron Gordon (15) had a combined 17 points for the Bucks.
Trevor Ariza scored 20 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the Raptors, who shot 38.7 percent.
Toronto had the ball for only 11 minutes in the opening period.
After trailing by as many as 20 in the second half, the Raptors rallied for a 55-44 lead with 11:27 left.
Toronto led 50-42 with 2:33 left in the third quarter before Milwaukee scored five straight points to take a 76-74 lead.
The Raptors, however, didn’t let up.
The Bucks answered with a 12-2 spurt to pull within two points before the Bucks scored eight straight points in the fourth quarter to lead 59-50.
The loss will make it five straight for the Nets, who are in the playoffs for the first time in five seasons.
The Nets will have the chance to play the Thunder next week in Oklahoma City.
