By now, we know how to create a rainbow-style game with the Wii U GamePad controller, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to get started with the game, but if you’re unfamiliar with how the game is made, here’s a quick guide to getting it done.

We won’t be making a game like this again for at least a few months, so if you’ve got a Wii U, a Wii Pro, or a compatible GamePad, this is probably a good time to get your hands dirty.

There’s no need to wait for a full game to release – we’re still testing out the game and it will be up to you to tell us how it turns out.1.

Get the GamePad together1.

Download the game2.

Select the game from the menu (select the game option when prompted)3.

Select your controller in the main menu4.

The game will launch (you should see a new icon in the top left corner of the screen)5.

Tap to start playing (if it’s running, the game will automatically launch with a loading screen).

If you’re unsure whether the game should be launched with the Gamepad or the touchscreen, you can either select the game’s option to launch on the Game Pad or on the touchscreen.

The latter will launch the game as a fully-featured Wii gamepad game on the TV (although this will cause the game to crash on the Wii).

You’ll also be prompted to download a GamePad Controller Adapter when the game launches.1 of 7 « Previous « Previous Next » Next »
